No-paint dent removal
Paintless Dent Repair in Richardson for Dings, Hail and Door Dents
Parking lot dings along Plano Road and spring hail both leave the paint unbroken more often than you might expect. That is exactly when paintless repair makes the most sense.

The Physics of Pushing Metal Back
Automotive paint today is a thin, flexible system of e-coat, primer, base color and clear, baked on at the factory with a durability no repair booth fully duplicates. When a dent stretches the metal gently and that paint stays unbroken, a technician can reach behind the panel with shaped rods and massage the steel back toward its original crown. Each push moves the metal a tiny amount, guided by the reflection of a lined light across the surface. Aluminum hoods and fenders can often be done too, though aluminum is less forgiving and needs a lighter, slower touch. No sanding, no filler and no new paint means the panel keeps the finish it left the plant with. We check every dent first and give you a straight answer on whether it is a good candidate.
When Paintless Repair Is the Right Call
Paintless work covers more situations than many drivers expect. These are the pieces of a typical job.
Candidate screening under light
We check the depth, sharpness and location of the dent and confirm the paint has no cracks before recommending this method.
Paint flexibility check
Paint that has been refinished before or has aged badly can crack under pressure, so we gauge it first to avoid surprises.
Routes in behind the panel
Tail lamps, inner liners and trim panels often open a path to the back of the dent without drilling anything.
Reflection-guided rod work
A lined light board shows every distortion, and rods press the metal in small, controlled movements until the lines run straight.
Glue-tab pulling for sealed areas
Where a brace or double wall blocks rod access, a glue tab pulls the dent from the outside without harming the paint.
Leveling the raised ring
Raised edges around the dent are tapped down gently so the surface finishes level with the rest of the panel.
Storm-damage panel chart
After a hailstorm we chart dents panel by panel, which keeps the count clear for your claim and for the repair.
Electronics moved before access
Door modules and sensors are unplugged and set aside whenever we need to reach behind a panel.
From Ding to Smooth Without a Spray Gun
- 1
Light it and judge it
We roll the car under a reflection board and study how the lines bend across the dent. Paint condition and panel material are checked next. If the paint is cracked or the crease is too sharp, we tell you up front and outline the other options. If it qualifies, you get a clear estimate before work starts.
- 2
Find a way behind and push
Trim, lamps or liners come off so tools can reach the back of the panel. Rods are positioned against the low spots, and the metal is eased out in hundreds of small pushes. Glue tabs handle areas that rods cannot reach. The technician keeps checking the reflection until it reads straight.

Level, reassemble and review
High spots are tapped down to finish the surface. Everything removed for access goes back in, and electronics are reconnected and tested. We look at the panel from several angles in natural light. Then we walk you around the car so you can judge the result yourself.
The Case for Keeping Factory Paint
The original finish stays original
Factory paint is applied to the bare shell and baked at temperatures a repair shop avoids. Keeping it means there is no color match to worry about.
Less disassembly, fewer variables
Without sanding or painting, there is less to remove and less that can go wrong. The car is often ready sooner than it would be after a refinish.
Honest screening every time
Not every dent qualifies, and pushing a bad candidate can crack paint. We would rather say no than force a repair that will not hold up.
